Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content and threat management solutions, has announced the official opening of its South East Europe (SEE) regional office. The office, based in Ljubljana, will be responsible for the whole of SEE, including Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Greece and Cyprus. This will be the 30th regional office of Kaspersky Lab.
“I am very proud to announce the official launch of Kaspersky Lab‘s office in the SEE region, which I believe will strengthen and increase our market share in all segments. From now on Kaspersky Lab is able to offer its SEE customers a single, unified management and security platform across entire virtual, physical and mobile environments. We are confident of achieving our strategic goal of becoming the number one anti-virus vendor in SEE in the next three years,” said Andrey Slobodyanik, Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab, Eastern Europe.
The new office will be run by Dragan Martinovic, who was previously responsible for the Balkans region. Commenting on the news he said: “We’ve built up a vast network of customers and partners in SEE, and the next logical step is to establish a direct presence in the region. Our new office will help us to strengthen and promote the Kaspersky Lab brand in SEE, and more effectively coordinate the activities of our partners. This will also enable us to get much closer to each of our business partners and provide the level of support we have made the hallmark of our company.”
