Comes free as part of my bank internets package upgraded to multi user at a minimal price seems to be as effective as the previous AVG product.

Plain and simple, Kaspersky works in the background and does what it says on the tin. Protection. The added plus, it does not interrupt whatever you are doing unless it senses you are doing something wrong. There is no annoying buy this now interruptions, no get a better one, get this or get that.

This product was easy to install like the way it works in the background and lets you know if there are problems. Would recommend to friends and family.

I've been using Kaspersky internet security for about 10years now in all and have yet to have been attacked despite doing nearly all my shopping and banking online. I have though had malicious software try to attack me of several types which have all been stopped by Kaspersky so it's well worth the money. I can't pretend to know how it works and some of the more advanced features do baffle me. Fortunately though for the most part the settings are very easy to use and if left in default mode its perfectly adequate for most users. The downside to Kaspersky is that it can slow your pc down now and again when its updating but this is easily avoidable by choosing when to update in the settings and perfectly normal for this type of software, overall its probably better than most as some are commonly referred to as bloatware for a reason Norton being the only other one I have experience with. Also initially when 'training' the product loads of little confusing screens pop up when browsing, but it doesn't last long and they're fairly self explanatory. Once operational the only real downside is that it takes the PC a few extra seconds to boot up initially but when pitted against the level of protection that it affords the user it's not really worthy of mention. The bottom line for me is that I consider the money very well invested and the protection vital to my every day computing and I wouldn't even consider running a pc without it.
