Ilijana Vavan has joined Kaspersky Lab to take up the position of Managing Director for Europe. Leaving her role at Oracle, where she was the Senior Sales Director, Ilijana brings nearly 25 years of top experience in the IT sector in sales, management and technical roles. She joined Kaspersky Lab at the beginning of January 2018.
Ilijana will be responsible for the regional European business strategy and sales growth. Ilijana will lead the European team to implement the company's strategy to further develop and continue to grow in B2C, digital and enterprise cyber-security.
Ilijana has a standout track record in IT Security, SaaS and Cloud as well as enterprise applications software and IoT. Ilijana joins from Oracle where she was Senior Sales Director, HCM, responsible for sales growth in Germany & Switzerland. She has held a number of senior leadership roles at Kontron, Saba Software, Juniper Networks as well as Kaspersky Lab from 2010 – 2012 when she served as MD for Western Europe. Prior to that, Ilijana held a number of roles at Microsoft, including being responsible for the organisation’s enterprise and partner strategy for Central & Eastern Europe.
Ilijana graduated with a Masters in Computer Science from the Technical University of Twente in The Netherlands. With her extensive experience in ICT and the information security sector with award winning achievements, Ilijana has established an exceptional reputation in Business Development, General Management, Sales, Marketing, Services, Strategies and Execution.
