Kaspersky Lab balances Application Freedom with Corporate Security Essentials at Gartner Application Architecture Development and Integration Summit

Corporate security, experts and caviar tasting at the Gartner Application Architecture Development and Integration Summit for CIOs and IT leaders

Abingdon, UK, 17 May 2013 – Kaspersky Lab today announces that it will be participating in the Gartner Application Architecture Development and Integration Summit, held at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London from 16 – 17 May 2013. As well as exhibiting at the summit, Kaspersky Lab experts will participate in a speaker session

The Summit aims to help to evolve application strategies to ensure that they continue to deliver business value. Topics include cloud computing, mobile, modernisation, governance and more. CIOs can take the opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss issues and collaborate with peers, experts and market leaders.

Kaspersky Lab’s industry expert Dave Messet will speak about finding the right balance between application freedom and corporate security essentials. His session will tackle important questions such as “Is corporate security really the responsibility of developers?”

Find out the answer on May 17 at 12:10 at Park Plaza 2 & 3 and learn in his twenty minute Theatre session about the biggest threats to our environment, how to address them and how to ensure applications are available across multiple devices for the right people. Also learn about Kaspersky Lab’s latest solutions for business that offer comprehensive security and systems manageability for every endpoint.

Kaspersky Lab will also be manning a platinum booth at the show. The booth can be found at S20. Internet security experts will be on hand throughout the event to offer advice on the latest security threats, trends and business implications. Additionally, journalists are invited to join a lively Russian-themed evening reception, including a Russian buffet with caviar tasting and an ice bar with vodka based cocktails. Along with Russian music you can enjoy traditional Cossack dancing at the Kaspersky booth on May 16 from 6 pm – 8 pm.
