Lack of confidence in IT skills no longer a barrier to protection as Kaspersky Lab experts can install new security software over-the-air
Abingdon, UK – 12th March, 2013 – With more than 200,000 new internet threats detected and contained every day, home PC users who lack confidence in their IT ability can feel overwhelmed by the challenge of protecting their computing equipment. To help such customers reap the full benefit of Kaspersky Lab’s award-winning home internet protection, Kaspersky Lab has introduced a new remote installation service that does all the work for you.
The remote installation service [insert link] is easy to arrange. At a pre-arranged time a Kaspersky Lab expert will contact the customer to wirelessly install the security software directly onto their PC or PCs. Customers can take up the service at any time within 90 days of buying the software.
“Security is no longer an optional extra for home PCs,” said Jens Voigt, Vice President Customer Support Western Europe, Kaspersky Lab. “Computers are used increasingly by the whole family for work, communications, entertainment and precious personal content. This makes them a prime target for malicious attack. Many home users are realising that they need powerful protection, but worry about getting the set-up wrong. Our new remote installation service overcomes such concerns.”
The Kaspersky Lab remote installation service is available for the following products:
- Kaspersky PURE 2.0 Total Security
- Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013
- Kaspersky Internet Security 2013
- In Germany, Austria and Switzerland also Kaspersky Security for Mac and Kaspersky ONE
Costs start at 19.95 EUR if purchased together with the software (rising to 29.95 if bought separately at a later stage), the services required and the number of PCs the software will be installed on.
